Director, Styling- Women’s Polo

Responsible for translating and maintaining consistent Women’s Polo brand language through various marketing and brand/product presentation channels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
DESIGN Stay connected with women’s polo design team to have visibility to and learn styling codes/ messages/ big ideas from Creative Director. Learn and become a part of the language.
MARKETING/ADVERTISING/DIGITAL Work on styling all outward facing assets / presentations of the brand with global and regional marketing, advertising, dot com, app team. Partner with design team on styling for all tier campaigns and special projects (Pink Pony, US Open, Wimbeldon, Pride, etc). Partner with the agency and design in researching swipe/ styling / overall creative for shoots. Organize castings and portfolio reviews – propose castings to brand leads for all tier shoots, fit guides, special projects, and showrooms. Maintain an approved model list for women’s polo. Work with creative directors on editing selects and shoot content. Partner with design and dot com team to help maintain creative for brand landing page on website. Help in creating unique content for women’s polo with the App Team. Partner with the PDP team in LIC to maintain brand consistency through styling and casting. Support in look book shoots, wholesale shoots, and product knowledge guides for all internal partners.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION Work with the concept team in setting up showroom and styling mannequins to then relay big picture to Global store teams/ visual merchandising/ windows. Establish key looks & styling tips during showroom phase based on tiered assortments & distribute to retail and wholesale product presentation. Distribute key/ additional looks and support to international showroom teams (who need many additional looks). Partner with product presentation team on styling/brand creative to ensure flagships and other stores have best representation of the brand. Attend key changeovers at local retail flagships (ie: 888, Prince Street, EH high season), partnering on styling and establishing looks for windows and in store.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Minimum 8 years experience in design related field -strong understanding of the Ralph Lauren aesthetic -ability to style within Women’s Polo aesthetic -detail oriented -ability to multitask
